Title: Inkheart

Meggie didn't know her father, who she calls Mo, had a magical gift. His gift is that he can read stuff in and out of books. A long time ago Mo had read his wife (Meggie's mother) into the book Inkheart and brought out three characters: Dustfinger, Capicorn, and Basta. These men come back into their lives and Meggie's and Mo's lives will never be the same.
I loved the book because it is magical and full of adventure. I can't wait to read the next one!

If you think Inkheart sounds interesting there's more because you can also read Inkspell and Inkdeath. 
There is a movie that is based on Inkheart that you could watch after reading it.
