Title: Inkheart
By: Cornelia Funke
Meggie didn't know her father, who she calls Mo, had a magical gift. His gift is that he can read stuff in and out of books. A long time ago Mo had read his wife (Meggie's mother) into the book Inkheart and brought out three characters: Dustfinger, Capicorn, and Basta. These men come back into their lives and Meggie's and Mo's lives will never be the same.
I loved the book because it is magical and full of adventure. I can't wait to read the next one!

Hate That Cat by Sharon Creech.
Hate That Cat is the sequel to Love That Dog. The book is about the boy(Jack) getting over his dog's death and how there's this one mean fat cat that he hates. In the end it all goes well with a little help from his teacher. The whole book is in verse and is a very nice, quick read.
